My dream is to buy a cream-colored house with a green roof and a red gate. There will be six rooms, one for my parents and for each of my siblings, plus a stock room where we could store extra pillows, bed sheets, etc. There will be a kitchen counter, a little chapel, and all the supplies we’ll ever need for our studies… For now I need to work hard to make this dream come true. – Dyrin S., San Joaquin, Iloilo
– Monica A., Balayan, Batangas
We may not be wealthy, but I would like my family to be rich in love, happiness and contentment. I also want a slower-paced society and to give more time and importance to studying and nurturing relationships.
– Mary Joy B., Tagum, Davao
I’d like to give job opportunities to my relatives and townfolks in Catanduanes by putting up a restaurant business someday. Holding on to this dream fuels my desire and motivation to keep studying hard.
– Richelle S., Cubao, Quezon City
My greatest dream is the gift of peace. Everywhere I go, I observe a lot of family misunderstandings, quarrels among friends, rivalries among politicians… I hope that our future families won’t suffer the same problems and conflicts as we do. Why disobey traffic rules, why keep hurting each other? As for me, I shall work for peace until the Philippines is declared not only as fun-loving but “the loveliest, most peace-loving country” in the world. I know that it all begins with me; but I think that the secret lies in having faith in God.
– Liza D., Panitan, Capiz
