Filipino Businessmen Should Take Opportunity in Manufacturing Industry—Jaza

THERE is a good opportunity in the manufacturing sector in connection with the advance technology, according to businessman Jaime Augusto de Ayala Zobel, or Jaza.

In his speech to fellow businessmen, Jaza, chairman and CEO of the Ayala Corporation, said Filipino businessmen should take advantage of the great opportunities in the manufacturing sector of the country.

Jaza said the Filipino businessmen should do away with the thinking that they could not compete with others.

“I believe the Philippines can position itself as a viable destination for manufacturing investments,” he said.

He said the Filipino businessmen have very good potential in the manufacturing sector, thus, they could compete even in the international community.

He said the economic environment is strong despite global economic and geopolitical headwinds, as well as natural disasters.

Jaza stressed that the Philippine economy is strong due to the sound fiscal management, structural reforms, and good governance implemented by past leaderships have created an enabling environment for enterprises to participate in sizeable investment opportunities.
